My son and I were craving some Chinese food and sushi. Instead of hitting up our normal place we decided to try China Star. We had the buffet on a Sat afternoon and there were a lot of choices but most you could see had been out for a while. I didn't try the sushi as it looked very old and I didn't want to risk it. But what I got was good and what my son got he said was good as well. If we go back we will either go when they first open or if they're busier so we know the food will be hot and fresh!!

About half the dishes were dirty. The food was ok. We had to walk out after my daughter found a maggot in her beef broccoli. They tried to give 10% off. Both of us lost our appetite and my daughter said she wanted to cry. Don’t waste your money here. I called the health department it was so bad.

I ate here 3 times over a 2 1/2 year period. The first time the food was terrible, lukewarm (to be generous) and drenched with soy sauce. The second time the food was a lot better but just average at best. The third (and final) time the food was disgusting again, cold and flavorless, not even drenched in soy which might have been an improvement. The best I can say about this place is at least I didn't get sick after eating there. I won't be back.

This experience was horrible. I had been here on many other occasions over the course of many years, me and my family. This by far was the WORST EVER!! From the food to the customer service. The food was not fresh, the ice cream machine was broken down, they were bringing small portions of food out at a time only to feed a few people. I waited 30 minutes for any egg drop soup. I almost missed it by my time leaving! After I asked many many times. They need a lot of help please save your money. I apologized to my loved ones for feeding them that choice of a place!
