Two thumbs down. Do not recommend. Quiet hours are all hours! We had a speaker on the bank while we were in the water. We were told at 5 pm that the music needed to be contained to our campsite only. There were no other campers in the area and we didn’t even have it turned up that loud. After supper the same man came back and asked us to turn the music off. It was well before 10pm and still no other campers in this area. He came back a third time with the cops and told us we needed to leave. Everyone had been drinking and they wanted us to drive out of there. This wasn’t a wild party but we were a large (16) group of 30-40 year old people playing a game and visiting. They wanted silence. We agreed to go to bed at that time. The following morning we were refunded for Saturday and told to leave. We went on down the road a bit and stayed at Many Islands campground and didn’t have anymore problems. If you are looking for a fun hating place to stay, this is where it’s at.

2nd visit in the past month. This is a very family friendly campsite. Everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. Wonderful store that is priced comparable to Walmart. This is NOT a party campsite. So if your going to get drunk and be disruptive then don’t come to this camp grounds, you will be asked to leave. Local law enforcement patrols regularly. However, if your looking to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful river side campground, this is the best choice. Fishing is amazing with most all sites right on the Spring River. We love this place and Will be spending many weekends here for years to come!

Quintessential camping trip spot in Northern Arkansas. Spring river oaks is mellow and more family oriented, many islands is kinda crazy and you might see something interesting

We have been staying at this campground for 15+ years with no issues whatsoever until this weekend. We went with a large group that ranged from 6years old all the way to 60 years old and half the group was made to leave in the middle of the night. 3 of our teenage girls walked to the bathroom in the middle of the night together and a staff member was standing near the bathrooms and told them they didn’t need to be up there?! They told him they needed to use the restroom and he said they needed to go back to their site?!!! Then The staff drove through the campground and cutoff the lights to his van and creep through slowly then proceeded to get out and walk through peoples camping areas without his flashlight on. He shined the flashlight last minute at our group by the fire and one of the 4 members of our group that were awake shined the flashlight back to see who it was and it was over from there. Our individuals had no music playing and were just sitting by the fire. Yes it was after 10pm but they were not screaming, laughing and no music. The staff then proceeded to call the sheriffs department and by the time all was said and done half of our group were packing up everything including tents etc because they were asked to leave. The children were scared and crying and it was absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention that they didn’t seem to care that our group said they didn’t feel comfortable driving in the middle of the night and some had even been drinking that day/night. They were giving breathalyzer tests in front of the kids and said “the most sober one” needed to drive out of there. I understand the need to keep things orderly and to not disturb any other campers and that rule was not broken until the gentleman with a power trip escalated everything. They didn’t like us and judged us when we arrived and that was clear. Ironically enough they were claiming to be such Christians and talking to us about how much they pray but Christians don’t judge others so maybe they need to pray a little harder. I woke up this morning and packed my belongings and will not be back. I have A LOT of friends that come here and our business and $1,000 will not be spent there any longer.
