The Best Skilled, post acute care in Southbay Area. Very well-managed and they'll take care of your family member like one of their own.

As an employee at Kei-Ai South Bay for over 4 years, I have interacted with hundreds of moms and dads of the families that entrusted their loved ones here. I never thought my mom would be here for short term rehabilitation. About 8 weeks ago, my mom fell several times and was confused. I became an “instant” caregiver - helping her with feeding, toileting and bathing. She was getting very hard to take care of at home, so I scheduled a telemedicine appointment with her primary doctor. He diagnosed her with a small stroke. A home health nurse visited us and recommended that my mom should come to the nursing home where I work at, Kei-Ai South Bay, for rehabilitation. The Kei-Ai South Bay Administrator Spencer and OPTUM doctors were very supportive in getting my mom admitted here. The OPTUM doctor at Kei-Ai South Bay diagnosed her with Urinary Tract Infection (UTI). She was given antibiotics for one week and her condition started to improve. My mom’s primary doctor did not diagnose her with a UTI. If I did not bring my mom to Kei-Ai South Bay, her UTI would have gone untreated and her condition would have worsened. During her stay at Kei-Ai South Bay, my mom received excellent physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. I am very appreciative of the Rehab Dept. Staff – Andrew, Vivien, Belle, Mary, Michael, Ai, Isaac and Arthur. They spent many hours getting my mom stronger and ready to do everyday tasks again. The OPTUM doctors kept me informed about my mom’s progress which calmed my anxieties. My mom liked the food and excellent nursing care that she received during her stay. The nurses said my mom was cute and they enjoyed taking care of her. After being discharged, my mom was able to go to the bathroom by herself, easily get into the shower, walk more steadily and is not confused anymore. I made the right choice in bringing my mom to Kei-Ai South Bay. The Aspen Healthcare mission statement: We are professionals committed to serving others, nurturing life and promoting an individual’s ability to thrive. Those principles were lived out in my mom’s recovery at Kei-Ai South Bay. I would definitely recommend Kei-Ai South Bay as an excellent place for your loved one to recover.

I highly recommend this facility! If you are looking for a place to use and enhance your skills in the medical field this is the place to go! Katherine the staff developer is top notch! She is very helpful and caring not only to the residents but the staff as well. The receptionist Jeryll is very helpful and easily connects loved ones to the residents in a timely manner. The facility in all have great staff. They are very friendly and welcoming. When you walk in the facility it is very clean and has a homey feel. The administrator Spencer is great. He knows his residents by name and checks on them on daily. I am very pleased with this facility and again highly recommend it! 👌

I’m super thankful for this facility. They provided the best care to my grandfather. I’ve heard many stories about nursing homes but with Kei-Ai it’s a whole different experience. Thank you to Lucy in Admissions for helping out with this process, and being there every step of the way. Thank you to all the staff for their continuous hard work and providing the best care. Definitely will be recommending Kei•Ai! Super grateful and my grandfather is too!
