The food was okay I don't think I will go back. The service was lacking. As much as I spent for the 5 of us I would have liked more stops at our table to see if everything was okay. But only 1 time was I asked.

Two words: GO HERE. Our Friday date night out started at the OTHER Mexican restaurant in town; we walked in and waited for over 15 minutes. Hungry we searched google and found ElLoboRojo a hidden gem on mainstreet in downtown Desoto! This is a quaint and very clean little restaurant tucked away in downtown. We were seated as soon as we walked in and had drinks with a few short minutes. Super fast service and friendly wait staff. They were attentive and very nice. 👌 Hubs ordered a chimichanga with a side of tacos and I had a chicken yummy (don't remember the exact name but it was grilled chicken, delicious with huge shrimp and mushrooms and cheese cheesey sauce!). Come here hungry because the portions are humongous! Forget about the OTHER place in town and check out this place!

The food was really good and service was good, however the place needed some updates. All the plateware had chips around the edges. The table surface was clean but tacky from wear.
