Was told I have to become a “pro” member in order to buy a ps5, which is a disgusting money grab. Do not shop here

Had a rough experience here. I came to trade in some games after looking up the trade in values for them on Gamestop's website and the person working there named Lane took in my trade. He gave me cash and a receipt, since the total value seemed low I immediately checked the receipt while walking towards the exit and I noticed that the individual values for the games were only about half of what the website had offered. I turned around and showed him on my phone the offers on the website and asked why the values were less, he refused to honor the trade values despite the website saying "Present this at any GameStop location". Since I didn't get what I was expecting I asked for my games back and he refused to do that as well, saying he "legally couldn't give them back." Really? I had literally just given him my games 10 seconds before. I have years of experience in sales, this was terrible customer service being that I had literally sold him the games the moment before and I hadn't even left the store. I had also given him my PowerUp rewards number which I noticed had not been entered on my receipt. He also docked some of my discs for a "resurfacing fee" without mentioning. He simply scanned in the games and told me a total and only after seeing on the receipt what each individual games values were was I able to clarify. This has never happened to me at a Gamestop before. It seemed like he was trying to be exploitive and gouge me as much as possible. After being persistent he finally agreed to give me my games back and acted as if I'd caused him a bunch of trouble for doing so. He talked to the next people in line after me with a big "Helllooooo guys" changing his tone, making me out to be the bad guy in the situation. I was calm the whole time and he talked to me in a way that made me feel unwelcome and talked down to. I will not be returning to this location.

We always have a good experience when we shop at Gamestop! The customer service representatives are always cheerful attentive and knowledgeable. I'm grateful we have a gamestop shop nearby because always up on the latest.

GameStop doesn't fix controllers. They only buy and sell them.
You will need to go in and have them inspect the system itself. It depends on it's condition and if it works.
yes
If it's a recent game, then it's most likely they do.
I don't think they except those
Yes
When you trade in a Wii. You need the power cable, A/V cable, sensor bar, Wii remote(with battery cover), and the nunchuck.
