Super quiet and lovely place to stay when stopping on a trip. Good value. Room was large, clean and well appointed with everything you need. Staff is super nice. The restaurant was still closed do to a fire but they're working hard to build it back! I will definitely stay again!

Me and my Fiancé decided to stay here after our 9 hour drive. This place is amazing! I stay in lots of hotels and this is by far one of the best ones i’ve stayed in. It smelled and looked very clean when we got there, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms were very spacious. Their lounge wasn’t open due to a fire, but when we stay here again (because we definitely will) I hope it’s open! This place feels like your staying at grandmas in the best way possible. I will be recommending this place to a lot of my family since we all make multiple trips to north carolina from kansas and vice versa.

After a week of staying in major corporate hotel brands for my 2nd 10 day business trip in a month, Bullwinkles was a welcome change of pace and scenery. Rooms are well and thematically furnished although the room I stayed in was probably due for a coat of paint and a few minor touch ups. The room was also little light on outlets (had to unplug the alarm clock so I could charge my phone on the nightstand), but I guess thay fits with the rustic theme. Bed was one of the better hotel beds I've slept on, and the pillows were definately a bit better than the stamdard corporate hotel pillows. Room was well cleaned. It's unfortunate the lounge (a separate building) had a fire and is closed temporarily, would have liked to check it out. When it opens again, it is conveniently located arround the small pond from the rooms. Being located a bit outside Poplar Bluff delivery options were a bit limited when I was looking for dinner, however there are a few restaurants that will including the local Applebee's. Overall, not a big deal it doesn't take long to go into town to pick up food from the numerous restaurants there. If I'm back this way again, 100% will get a room here again.

Wow! Passing through on our way to Florida, we came across this listing on Google and couldn’t say no! The kids loved being in a rustic lodge and wanted to explore every inch of the property. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be stopping by here on our way back home. It’s an amazing place to visit for whatever the occasion. Can’t wait to visit the outdoor fountain area and enjoy a nice beverage outdoors!
