Well equipped cabins, beautiful grounds, 2 ponds with kayaks, rope swing and slide. Parking kinda sucks but the place is amazing.

Really liked the location and the amenities of the cabin. There should be a tv in each bedroom. Other than that the experience was great. I will return in the future.

Cabin 4 had mold in the downstairs closet clearly had been painted over and instead of properly treated. Causing the mold to come back. At least 3 different types of mold were present and I also stayed in cabin 6 and mold was present in the second bathroom. Please do something about this it's not cute to charge people so much to spend the weekend sick.

We stayed in Cabin 4. It was an absolutely perfect cabin for a relaxing getaway. The swimming and fishing ponds on site were terrific and the scenery was just as great. The cabins were much more spacious than imagined for the price and were fully stocked with literally everything in the kitchen we could think of needing. Janet was such a wonderful hostess and very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. Above and beyond: We loved the dollar hunt! I hope this tradition between guests continues forever! - There's a small notebook with clues for finding a dollar within the cabin. Each of our boys left a clue for a dollar because they loved looking for it so much. We chose this cabin after looking for months unsuccessfully for a cabin near the Shawnee National Forest - Garden of the Gods (also remarkable). I am so glad we did because the amenities here seem to far outweigh those that we saw when we drove down for our hiking. Small critiques: The queen bed in cabin 4 wasn't terrific - it was super hard. The wifi was spotty at best. This being said, we'll definitely be back and are already planning our next getaway and recommending to all our friends and family. This coming from a family that hardly stays in 2 places twice.
