Terrible, incompetent, frustrating experience with the West Sacramento Wag Hotel. I do not recommend leaving your pet with this facility because the office staff is disorganized and incompetent. Last week, I drove with my new puppy to the Wag Hotel on Enterprise Blvd. in West Sacramento for their Puppy Socialization after making a reservation for him on the telephone. Once I arrived and waited in the lobby for twenty minutes, I was told the class wasn't being held after all.Okay, a mistake on their part, but the first one so not such a problem. Drove home again. However, tonight, I made another reservation for the Puppy Socialization class and drove out again. The woman at the front desk told me she needed to see my puppy's veterinary records--even though I had already brought the records the previous week--because somehow the front desk people didn't input them. So, after searching through files on my phone, I showed her his vet records. She then says , "He's up to date on his puppy vaccines." "Yes,." I say, "and his rabies shot too." "Well,he can't go into the puppy socialization session tonight if he's up to date on his vaccines." I am thinking , Huh? That doesn't make any sense. I say, "I was told he had to have his puppy vaccines before coming in and now you're saying he can't go to the class after you made a reservation for him and I drove all the way here." Total craziness. I can only think she, the manager, was trying to up-sale me to take my puppy to their day care sessions, instead. My puppy is only 4 months old, too young and little to be in a small room with larger older dogs.In any event, wasted my time completely tonight. I would never leave my pet here because I need to trust whoever is caring for my dog is competent and trustworthy and I don't trust this place at all. Frustrating!

The staff are great, but the company is obviously skimping on their technology, and it's really frustrating. Every time you call you are on hold a minimum of 30 minutes and the whole time they are playing a recording about how great their "new app" is. I downloaded their app. It's TERRIBLE. When it allows you to log in, which it never does without forcing you to change your password EVERY time, you are given pages obviously not formatted to mobile devices which do not show the calendar correctly, you can't select certain optional services (like all day play) in conjunction with your reservation. So we wanted a large kennel for two dogs for 8 days with all day play every day. In order to add all day play via the app, we would have to make a daily reservation and add all day play to every daily reservation. Then when you talk to staff on the phone they tell you one rate, but then when you arrive you get charged another. Like we asked them to feed our pups one day with their special diet food and the lady said it was 5$. Then when we checked out it was $10 per dog. No explanation for why they doubled it. Maybe $5 a cup for the food? But if that was the case they should tell you. Then we asked over the phone for a "large" kennel reservation and was told it was "4 by 12 feet" but when we confirmed at the location the staff said it was "4 by 10 feet". It's little things like that but they are so irritating. We still love it though!!

When I leave town and it isn't a pet friendly visit my Best Friend Bowie loves to go to Wag Hotels. I know he has a blast , because he sleeps for two days after we return. The staff is super friendly and the "Hotel" is really cool.

This review is for Brianna!!! She is a groomer at this location and has given my Labradoodle his haircut 3 times now. Let me just say, if you have a doodle in the area, THIS IS who you want to groom your pup. She goes above and beyond to ensure the cut is what I was looking for. This last groom service, she used a new shampoo and my dog had an allergic reaction,(constant itching). Brianna reached out to schedule a bath, to rinse out the old soap and try to help soothe his skin. He is 100% better and she reached out again to check in on him. It doesn’t get better than someone else caring about your dog. Thank you Brianna.

Have you tried calling them? I have booked reservations over the phone fairly painlessly in the past. I've even been able to email them separately to book reservations.

Go to boarding, select learn more, select city, then scroll down. Usually $45-70 depending on size of dog for standard, $85-100 for deluxe.

1. how much for the works? shampoo/day neal's clipped teeth brushed. 2. also just for neals & teeth brushed?

Nails are $10. I think teeth brushing is $13. Bath Brush and Nails is a package deal (teeth brushing separate) and the price depends on the dog size and coat difficulty. On average I would say most dogs are priced at $35. If you are interested I would call the front desk to book your appointment. They book up pretty fast.
