This is the most amazing place to unwind. Being out in the fresh air, swimming or kayaking with your family, bonfires, and camping are just a few of many things that make Laurel Branch an awesome campground to stay at during your vacation. Angie is the caretaker here. She is so helpful and it shows in her demeanor just how much she loves her job. Get out in nature. Come visit Rough River Lake.

First time at Laurel Branch. Beautiful campsites with ample river lake views. Ammenities well within walking distance of all sites. (Playground, bath house and dumpters). Had to ask host to replace electric box but within 20-30 minutes it was replaced. However RV site was hard to get into, was too narrow. Fire ring was full to the top of old ashes and cigarrette butts and we had to clean it before we were able to use it.

Amazing place. The host Angie is wonderful. Everything is 5 stars considering our site on the water. Unfortunately all of that was ruined when the camper next to us pulled in, backed up to our site, and then unloaded and started their generator right next to us. Now we have to inhale their fumes and shout to communicate. They allow generators from 6a to 10p (which people operate all day to run their AC). In all honesty it spoiled our relaxation to the point we don't want to stay any longer.

It is a fairly quiet Campground with a good size lake. There are a lot of places to swim and some good places to jump off cliffs.
