This place would be a 5 star had it not been for the odd colored hair hostess. I am from Louisiana and a proud 100% Cajun. I travel all across these United States and whenever I go to a different city I always look up any "Cajun" restaurants to see how close to authentic they are. I walk in and the hostess looks me up and down and I ask about being seated. She proceeds to tell me that "this is not a all you can eat buffet" and turns a menu my way and places her finger to the price section. Now, I am not wearing an $20,000 suit, just jeans a tee short and ball cap BUT I am sure there is nothing on that menu which is out of my price range as all of her actions and attitude applied. She then told me to sit at the bar. "You can eat there." OK. I am a single person and would hate to take up a 4 top and take away any wait staffs tip ability, though I do tip 25% or better depending on the service. The bartender heard my obvious accent and picked up on the fact I am from south Louisiana. He was very busy and very good at engaging with me and taking care of other customers and preparing drinks for the seated tables. I had the fried frog legs and fried shrimp. VERY GOOD. If you can get by the hostess with the rainbow hair style and her rude disposition you will enjoy this place. Cajun approved. Saturday 3-26-22 7:00 pm.

Sunday 1pm , about 1/4 full. They did not have a hostess but got seated by waiting staff pretty quick. Got fried catfish with Cole slaw. Catfish was hot, Cole slaw was good , maybe just a little too creamy for some. Definitely will put this on my rotation.

The fried shrimp basket is GREAT! The shrimp boil was GREAT, and fresh! Finally a place that has a great peel and eat shrimp! I wish though they would use Vidallia Onions and dip them in the same shrimp breading and make their OWN Onion Rings instead of frozen. Service was great and made sure we were taken care of! I loved they had "Hard Seltzers"!

This was my husband and my 1st time at this restaurant. We are from Dayton OH, and our server Larry was fantastic. Very friendly, great manners, kept conversations, and relatable. The food was melt in in your mouth delicious; Got the signature combo b, crab cakes, and the fried shrimp basket with fries, great for 2 people!!! Thank you Larry for a great experience.
