The animal control officer (Alvarez) was understanding and I felt went above and beyond. A feral mother cat was hot by a car 3 days ago. Unfortunately, she left behind 7 almost newborn kittens. We found them late last night after they had no food or water for 3 days. We panicked, so worried about these babies. When he came out he explained that they were too small and could not be taken to animal control. We frantically scrambled to find animal rescues only to find them all full. He was busy attempting to find formula and supplies to help save these babies. After some time, he came back and announced they found them rescues and they would not be euthanized. My neighbors and I just found a man dedicated to the health and safety of animals. Thanks so much.

Very painful experience. We were never notified that he , our loved dog, was there since the day he went missing. His family and lots of friends went over there every day looking for him. A missing report was filed online and in person. He was set to the crematorium without any notification to his family. He was chipped.

They’re incredibly unprofessional. I had been calling and emailing them for days about wanting to adopt a specific kitten until I finally got a hold of them and they scheduled me to come in for an appointment. When I got there though, she was already adopted. Why bother make me set up the appointment then? On top of that, the kitten I did end up adopting had untreated ear mites, ringworm, and was pretty underweight. What kind of business are you guys running here?

Finally an animal shelter that doesn't seem like the employees only visit once a month. To my surprise, it didn't smell of animal, the cages and kennels were all clean, the cats had toys, everyone had food and water. They are operating a little different now with COVID pandemic.. by appointment only. I just adopted my son's little one eyed fur ball there and the entire experience far surpassed my expectation. If you are looking to adopt.. please take a shelter animal. Doesn't matter where from (although this place has an exceptional feel and service) just get them out the pounds!

thats crazy
How loving can they be if they don’t bother to look for them
I drove to stockton to get help with a dog i found, i found her in an abandon house, there was no one to take care of her. I called tracy but they suggested i take her back to where i found her because they didnt have the time or resources. I understand because we found her in patterson but it was an empty house no food or water. The shelter in stockton stayed open 25 minutes after closing time and waited for me to bring her in. She ended up having a chip and was lost for 7 or 8 months so glad they took the time for her.
Yes but it includes spaying or neutering and all vaccinations at jules vet in tracy they take it cats are 48 or 46 dollars and dogs are a lil bit more not much. You can call tracy animal shelter on paradise rd in tracy. They had a lot of dogs when I went last weekend this Sunday from 1 to 3pm at petsmart they will have animals to adopt just fyi
There is a beautiful gs in the back. rescue only but is a very sweet dog. Todd is his name. i was able to secure him as he was on the run for weeks. he is an older gs but super sweet and beautiful. he is best probably only dog home but does back away from most dogs if they growl or snarl at him. he seems to ignore cats too but cannot be sure. if interested please email me
what can a breed is your dog?
Gina, did you end up taking your dogs to the shelter?
The City of Tracy has a dog obedience class that is offered through the Parks and Rec dept. I know someone who went to the class and said it was quite good and relatively inexpensive. I believe Pet Smart also has classes and have heard they are good.
As of right now due to covid, yes.
No
https://www.ci.tracy.ca.us/?navid=488 based on the website no. The Animal Rescue does http://www.animalrescuetracy.org/foster/
Yes
Listen to Mike- go to Stockton animal shelter- many more animals to choose from and several Spanish-speaking staff members
I believe 14 yrs old or if a parent chaperone the younger. Contact animal shelter to verify
I don't have any contact info beyond what is on the Web site. Also, I am not familiar with their procedures ok n this area. Sorry
Well there's different ways you can approach. The shelters open Tuesday through Sunday 12-5:30pm You might Google animal rescues of Tracy. ART Animal Rescue of Tracy in the Mall how's fosters that might take the dog in. Post on Tracy animals looking for with luck you'll be able to re-home the dog without taking to shelter
How old is the pitbull
Not the slightest idea. But my experience has been that dogs stay much longer than 72 hours. No one who works there WANTS to euthanize a critter.
Tracy does not have a foster program through the shelter. Contact a local animal Rescue and sign up with them to foster through the Rescue. There is unfortunately no guarantee you will be able to foster any puppies that are at this shelter. They tend to keep the puppies there and not offer to local Rescues for fostering
What? This question went to me to answer? Idk what your asking?
Currently they do not. However, they have a bunny.
Not unless one comes in needing adoption. But there are many other awesome breeds and mixed breeds that need a great home.
I'm not sure, call them
Check the animal shelter on Facebook or Instagram. They usually have pictures of the dogs.
There a no-kill shelter.. so I would guess zero
Hi. If you find a dog you want to adopt, you ask them if it's available for adoption. If they say yes, you can ask if you can take it for a walk. There is a patio in the back that has a couple of places for you to play with the dog...
They may have a furbaby for you. You possibly can google their website and click images. But it is really good to go there and see for yourself. To make sure the fuebaby has the temperament to match your family needs. I would definitely call to find out qualifications for adoptions. Thank you so very much for wanting to adopt from our shelters. ❤
Yes, I would agree, you need to just walk in.
