They do such awesome work for these animals and what i love most is the fact that you can return the pet I'm case things don't work out🙏🏽there great at adoption and re-homing. I hate when pet owners just abandon their animals outside😪but Animal Rescue of Tracy will take them back and find them homes. Great variety of animals and all the staff are super great nice and sincere!

Because of Animal Rescue of Tracy, we were able to foster the baby kittens we found in our yard, get all of their medical needs taken care of and we found them good homes.

Giving 3 stars because everyone there is very nice and got back to me very quickly via email. The facility is nice and clean, however my kitten was advertised as healthy and “dewormed”. When I brought her home, I noticed she had fleas. Then at her vet appointment she was diagnosed with Tapeworms and Coccidia. I emailed the adoption coordinator to let her know, so she could tell the person who fostered my kitten. It’s been a week and I have not gotten a reply back. There’s not much to say I guess, but an “I’m sorry” would be nice. It is upsetting too about the false advertising about the deworming. They are not a big deal to treat, but if I didn’t take her to the vet I would have never known & it could have potentially caused health complications. UPDATE: The adoption coordinator got back to me with a very nice email and ensured me that she was going to take care of the problem by contacting the person who fostered my kitten & the medical coordinator. I would 100% adopt from this organization again because I know they really care about their animals and will do what ever it takes to keep their animals healthy.

We do not currently have any small-breed puppies available. We would recommend checking regularly on PetFinder.com, as both we and most of the other local shelters and rescues use that site to post our available pets.

I'm afraid not - our rescue is only equipped to care for cats and dogs at present.

Does the shelter give parvovirus shot for canine

Our rescue unfortunately cannot provide vaccinations for animals who are not legally owned by us. We are a separate entity from the Tracy Animal Shelter and cannot guarantee that they have a vaccination program going at any given time. You can reach them by calling 209-831-6364.

Do you guys have dobermans?

The García Shenanigans | Aug 29, 2021
Animal Rescue of Tracy | Aug 29, 2021

We do not have any Dobermans available at present. We recommend regularly checking on the PetFinder.com website to see if any come available - we currently have relatively few fosters for larger dogs, so you may have better luck if you are broadening your search to include all the other rescues and shelters which use that site.
