Bathrooms are disgusting. None of the doors lock and there were fly strips hanging everywhere with dead flies on them. Took five minutes of waiting to pay for a drink. Left smelling of fried chicken. AVOID.

Nice country restaurant inside! The best catfish I've ever had! Nice staff too! When I'm back in Kentucky, I'll be back here! Simple, great home cooking! Who knew I'd find catfish and green fried tomatoes at a gas station on the highway! If you're in the area, this is a stop worth making to have a good, home-style southern meal!

As noted by a previous reviewer, this is the only “complete” place to stop on The Bluegrass Parkway. Despite a recent interior remodel, the exterior of the location needs serious work. The parking lot, as well the driveway up to the pumps is a minefield of potholes and loose gravel. The service inside is spotty at times, and does draw a lot of the “local wildlife” which can be jarring at times. Waiting behind someone at the register as the cashier comes to a complete stop and talks to the person in front of you about family members is something that happens way to often for my taste. If you really need the gas, expect to pay at least 15-25 cents more than the BP station 2 exits and 15 miles back off US 127 or at the Bardstown exit the opposite way. Convenience is the only thing keeping me from a 1 star rating though.
