My grandaughter loved the fountains to splash in. The park sits at the most perfect, scenic view! It was a little breezy when we went and to see our American flag and POW flag proudly waving made me tear up. Thank you to the city of Mt Vernon for allowing the park to be free. It was very clean I might add too! I live in Illinois, was worth the 25 minute drive. I definitely recommend Riverbend Park!

Nice clean park with a local hometown feel. Great view of the bend in the Ohio River where Mt. Vernon, IN is located. Famous for hoop holes and I think the 2nd highest port in Indiana. A small water fountain park for the kids to cool off during the summer. Free movies are shown here during the summer for the community. Graciously sponsored by local business. Public boat ramp is connected to this property.
