This is an outstanding locally owned restaurant. The staff here are all amazing. They even have the kindest lady that comes to each table just to thank you for coming in. They serve great comfort food from sothern style to soul food. The place is very clean including the restrooms. You will find something delicious on their menu.

Food was delicious! I got fried chicken dish, husband got buffalo chicken tenders and fried pickles. Interior of restaurant, including the bathroom was very cute. Service was good. And I really liked how they had these bendable wax strings for kids to create things with instead of crayons, definitely kept them much more entertained. Absolutely no complaints at all and would recommend to anyone!

This is a swanky joint with phenomenal breakfast/lunch options. They also have a really well stocked bar. This is the perfect place to go after a long night, or if you’re feeling a fancy breakfast. The mimosas were on point, and our service was fantastic.

The Big Dan, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Taste and portions were beyond outstanding. My daughter had Green Eggs Stacked, she was Very happy with it. Her face says it all.

Hi Sherri & Denice! Thanks for asking and for calling. While we love so much about this old building, this is one aspect that disappointed us as well. The existing elevator was too outdated to use and, given the size, cannot be simply modified to meet current code. We are saving up to be able to invest in this next renovation stage and replacing the elevator. We definitely have it marked as a major priority and are also disappointed it couldn't be in Stage 1 of our renovations of this historic building, but the quotations received just were not realistic at that stage for us. We worked extremely hard to ensure the main floor restaurant met ADA standards and prepped the other floors to be as well, so once the elevator is installed, all guests can comfortably enjoy all floors. We are eager to add vital piece to our ongoing renovation of the Historic Washington House Hotel. If there is anything we can do in the meantime, please let us know. Please know we are working on it
