Not many slots, but right on the river. Never saw a tower or a rock..... Good dispersed camping.

Very nice forest service campground on the bank of the Ohio River. Mostly open and grassy with plenty of large shade trees. There are five or six sites with vehicle pads, but several other fire rings to accommodate additional campers. The day I was there the river was receding from flood, and the campground itself was closed but there was a nice little gravel spot just beyond the campground entrance to spend the night. I enjoyed watching the tugs move barges up river, which was the only noise to be heard. It was quiet and serene. Check out nearby Cave-in-Rock If you're passing through. It's a sleepy little town with adjacent state park and a free ferry to get you across to the Kentucky side of the river. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful clean area on the water. Secluded and spacious camping areas. No electrical hook up if that's what your looking for. Primitive camping area. Plenty of trails and sites to see around the area.

Very nice spot but ruined by the Camp Host who seems to have claimed a scruffy corner of the camp ground. There is debris all round his site, boat, cars and he ran a generator all night!!

There is free camping, no fresh water available on site, out door privy, boat ramp and 5 camping sites. Located on the Ohio river between cave in rock and elizabethtown illinois. Gas, restaurants and bars in etown...plenty of drift wood for fires in campground and along river. Very quiet and peaceful place to camp....👍
There is a vault toilet and a boat ramp. Near the ramp is a trail to a gorgeous overlook of the Ohio River. It's a very quiet and secluded spot. I literally saw more barges on the river than cars on the road! :-)
