This office is always clean, professional and fast! Everyone is really nice, and it’s great that you can text to make appointments. I’ve never had to wait long at an appointment and they move patients along quickly, without feeling rushed. Highly recommend!

A+ vision continues being an excellent eye clinic. The doctor asked questions about her patient (even beyond vision related issues) and did not hesitate to thoroughly explain what she was seeing inside each eye. We felt like we were her favorite patients. The technicians who attended us also made us feel well taken care of.

An all-round great experience. The doctor takes the time to listen and understand what your needs are and does not rush you. Appointments are personalized with great customer service. Great selection of glasses and contacts. I could not recommend an optometrist more highly. The best Optometrist in Orange County, hands down. You will feel like family.

Carrots are high in beta-carotene, which the body uses to produce vitamin A. They are good for lowering cholesterol and yes, improving eyesight. Vitamin A helps the eye convert light into a signal that is sent to the brain, allowing you to see better in dim light.

No. When televisions were first developed, they gave off low levels of radiation and could theoretically cause vision problems with excessive exposure. But radiation is no longer an issue with modern televisions. Watching tons of TV might not be the most productive use of your time, but it won't harm your eyesight.

What Does it Mean to Have 20/20 Vision?

A+ Vision Optometry | Mar 2, 2022
A+ Vision Optometry | Mar 2, 2022

20/20 vision is a term used to express normal visual acuity (the clarity or sharpness of vision) measured at a distance of 20 feet. If you have 20/20 vision you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance. If you have 20/100 vision, that means you have to be up to 20 feet away to see what a person with normal vision can see 100 feet away. 20/20 vision doesn't necessarily mean you have perfect vision. 20/20 vision only indicates the sharpness or clarity of distance vision. Other important vision skills, including peripheral perception or side vision, eye coordination, depth perception, the ability to focus, and color vision, contribute to your overall vision. Some people can see well at a distance but are unable to bring nearer objects into focus. This condition can be caused by hyperopia (farsightedness) or presbyopia (loss of focusing ability). Seeing objects close but cannot see those far away. This condition may be caused by myopia (nearsightedness).
