The staff was very helpful, the pool area was nice and clean but our room left much to be desired. There were nail clippings and cigarette ash on both sides of the night stands. The beds were poorly made. It was dusty, smelled damp, and just felt gross. They need to do more of a detail clean then the slap job that is done. The TV did not work. The guy at the desk helped me get it to turn on, but we could not change the channels or turn it up. The coffee pot did not work, but that was ok. They have coffee by the desk and at the breakfast bar. The breakfast was very good. There was a lot of variety offered and it was fresh. The common areas were all nice,, our room was gross.. I expect more at this price point!

Beautiful king suite room. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast hot buffet was awesome. Everything was "normal", I was expecting cheap prepackaged food and drink because of you know what-19 but to my surprise, the breakfast was just like old times. The staff at the front desk and housekeeping were great. They care about their job and the guests. The gym was in working order and clean and stocked sufficiently with towels, cups, and cleaning wipes. All the equipment worked. Nothing was missing. The public areas were clean and taken care of as well. The lobby restrooms were clean and stocked well. The parking lot in the front of the hotel can get crowded. They have parking spots on the side at all times, but it is a farther walk and you have to go uphill from the lot to the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The MO. river and downtown is a short drive north and is a nice place for recreation like running, walking, biking on the trail or having a picnic.
