I just came back from this Sephora at Montclair Plaza. I had a order pickup after which I had some time to kill so I decided to browse around. Within seconds of trying to smell some cologne one of the staffs came up to me asking if I need assistance and I literally heard her say on her little microphone “yeah there seems to be something in the bag” (WHICH WAS MY PICKUP ORDER!!) and right away like within 30 seconds another person came asking the same thing and she introduced herself as the manager, I believe she said her name was Brittney. I found the whole experience to be so nonsense so I decided to leave and right as I was leaving the first staff that came to see me was at the door again and was saying “have a great day” while LITERALLY eyeballing my shopping bag. I was so angry and mortified, the entire incident was beyond disrespectful to me! Needless to say, I definitely won’t be coming back to this Sephora. I’m from DTLA so I don’t come out all the way to shop at the Montclair Sephora anyways, only reason I came was because they were one of few stores that was carrying the cologne I needed. ❌❌

This place is like a warehouse of makeup the young lady that waited on us was super friendly she was eager to help us we didn't do that with their first time going there so we didn't really know where everything was at she was very patient with us and me and my daughter and she was like I said she was super friendly

Amazing staff and cosmetics. They also do free 15 minute makeup which is you pick between eyes, lips, foundation and concealer, bows, or contoring and they will teach you how to do it. The also have a full face makeover which cost $50 plus whatever you buy.
