In all my years of visiting Micke's Grove Park, I've never been to the museum. It was bigger than I expected, with many new and historic buildings. The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and clean. I definitely recommend visiting.

This is a museum that is not well known but should be on your radar to visit. They have more tractors than you can count. They have parties and get together club meetings that you can join. Running tractors doing parades and history all over the place in several buildings. Well kept up.

Nice museum in a good location. Price is reasonable...but you also have to pay an extra $5 to park. They also charge an extra $2.50 to use a credit card. There are some marvelous displays, but there are also some that are too cluttered, dark, or difficult to read because they are in corners. At the time I visited, 6 different buildings were closed. If they could address some of these issues and possibly create a combo ticket with the parking booth (which takes credit card with no additional charge), this would be a 5-star museum.

We went to the festival of trees, which was a blast. All the kids loved it (from 2 to 10) and my husband and I had fun too. I have never been there when there was not a special event going on, but there is a working blacksmith forge, the docents are friendly and knowledgeable, and there are plenty of placards to explain what you are seeing. It is a decidedly local museum and probably appeals more to those who like agricultural history than to the general public, but it is well worth a visit.

I think they are in the museum.

The Stockton Record might have archived papers you could look at or the Stockton Library might have them also. Hope this helps.
