The food is really good but the service is under par. Not friendly. Best thing to do is order to go so you won't get the poor customer service.

I came to get his food from Covina, and the man told me that it was already closed at 8:20 when on maps he marks that he closes. At 9 pm. He was upset because I told him if he had something left over because we came from far away and in an annoying way he told me: "I'll sell you" if I don't have anything. Note: they should only attach on their website that they are subject to change in case they have nothing to offer, even the smallest restaurant continues to offer their food until closing and not until the product is sold out.

I was really craving Mexican style tortas ahogadas, and this place disappointed, red sauce was out a can, service was horrible and it’s cash only. I almost went home to throw up what I ate.

This our first time at the La Chiva Loca they well know serving torta Ahogadas it's torta sandwich cover with tomatoe sauce that originally from Guadalajara,Jalisco in Mexico they are will know for the torta Ahogadas. Their torta bring me memories having torta Ahogadas when I was young. They very Pozole that's is very popular.
