He actually wrote out a recipe for Chana masala for me and helped me locate the best ingredients--I make it at least once a week! So glad we have this wonderful market in Boulder!

This small Indian Grocery shop is worth seeking out, it’s an absolute hidden gem. They have so many wonderful fresh ingredients tucked away in here, a huge refrigerated and frozen section and every spice or tea you could wish for. The best part though is the owner, he is so kind, welcoming and helpful. He has shared several family recipes with me and always has products to point out that become our new family favorites.

The store owner is an absolute gem, and made my day. Funny enough, my trip to this little grocery store was one of my highlights from traveling to Boulder. When we entered the store, the owner immediately greeted us with a kind smile and asked us what we were looking for. After telling him our plan (a chickpea curry) he proceeded to spend the next 20 minutes explaining everything we would need for a curry that will "beat any restaurant" down to the teaspoon. He wrote it all down, and treated us as if we were the most important people in the world. He made a lifelong customer out of me that day. I cannot recommend enough. Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a grocery store, and one of the most passionate and kind people I will ever meet.
