Solid all around. You know the drill: Asian-owned fish place in the ghetto that caters to us Blacks and Latinos. Go during the day, unless you know how to carry yourself after nightfall. I had the Cat Plate which came with fries, hush puppies, salad, and catfish fillet (#7, I think). Salad- I skipped it because I know it'd be a waste of my time. N/A Fries- Frozen crinkle cut, but seasoned well with a little Lawry's. Someone told them what's up. I didn't even use any ketchup. Portion was solid. 5/5 Hush Puppies- actually good. I say it that way because lots of places just mess them up. These were on the smaller side and were a little harder than I like, but they were seasoned well. It was the right flavor. 4.5/5 Catfish Fillets- Mhmm. Perfectly seasoned and prepared. The crunch, the color, the thickness were all on point and they weren't cut into strips. I could use just ONE more piece, but the everything else was there. 5/5 Their hot sauce is a weird mix of the Red Hot style with a little horseradish, but it's good. Should you go? Yes, just do it during the day unless you know the situation in this part of LA.

Food is very delicious. Fish has plenty of flavor, especially the salmon! The batter is perfect, not salty or greasy. Great food and service.

The red snapper fried fish was so good! They provided friendly service, the prices were fair for the portion, and everything was fresh. The only thing I wish they would add is a drink to their dinners; otherwise, I have no complaints.
