Big Thorn is a family friendly outdoor brewery. The food is amazing and unique. Everything is constantly updating and changing to meet the needs of the customers. They have a delicious, organic, and unique style that is ever-changing depending on the season. Everything is grown on sight or outsourced from local farmers. The owners welcome you like family.

Great staff, wonderful for kids, plenty of room to roam and play games, clean restrooms, and scenic views. Spent more than my share of time there and there are plenty of tables. Everyone had a great time, not just us either. Definitely family friendly, positive atmosphere!!!

Visited Big Thorn Farm on Sunday afternoon. Glad we drove from Champaign to check this Brewery out. The tree bar is great. Wonderful outdoor setting. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the beers. The beers we tried were good. The Vienna Lager was excellent. The food we got was also very good. I would definitely recommend this brewery and will be back next time I'm in the area.

Yes we are in most Binny's and Friar Tuck stores. If you are in the Champaign Urbana area you can also find Big Thorn at Art Mart, Sun Singer, Harvest Market, and County Market on Stoughton St.
Hi Cec, The Greenhouse is always open for seating, but we only serve out of it for large events in the Summer season!

Hi Tommy, we do not serve food at the brewery, but we do have three park grills for folks to grill out, and you are welcome to bring whatever food you like. We also have food trucks from time to time!
