The staff at East Bay Wilds know everything about California native plants and they are fantastic to work with. Pete designed our front and back yards and I absolutely love the result. I spend at least 1-2 hours in the yard every day now enjoying all of the flowers and wildlife. I didn’t know how many native bees there were, and I love all the different types of bumble bees. I’ve had new types of birds that visit too. It’s given me such joy! I highly recommend East Bay Wilds!!!

I'm new to California natives and have been slowly reworking my yard. I was extremely pleased by the selection and variety available at East Bay Wilds Native Plant Nursery. I did a little research ahead of time and found their online inventory (a google doc), easy to navigate, and when I arrived, the knowledgeable staff helped me find just what I was looking for. I took note of plants I hadn't heard of before, and have had fun learning about native plants. Will definitely be back!

Well cared-for inventory. Check inventory list online to get a rough idea of what they have but call ahead if you need a very specific plant. I had no issues with parking and pulled into driveway to load. Small demonstration garden will give you an idea of some of the plants when mature. Knowledgeable staff and fellow patrons make it a fun experience. Prices are reasonable.

Pete and his crew transformed my weed-choked backyard filled with bricks and boards into an oasis. They did the work quickly and efficiently and in four days I was looking out on a beautiful landscape filled with 24 native plants. Thanks so much for restoring my backyard.

Yes, we carry Blue Elderberry and sometimes Red Elderberry too.
we do carry that sometimes. i don't think we have any at the moment though.
they are still small. i'd rather wait another month to sell them.
I'm just a customer. There website has an availability list.
yes, we do, but they've been selling very quickly. i just got a shipment of beautiful plants yesterday, and they'll be gone soon. we're open every friday from 9:30-4. i'll be there this saturday - july 24th from 10-2 as well.
East Bay Wilds carries a huge selection of plants native to California. Guavas are native to southern Mexico and Central America, so you won't find them here.
no. it's not native to California.
We have many that grow more tree-like than shrub-like, but it all depends on the way it is pruned - which needs to be done correctly for manzanitas. Some of the common ones we carry are Dr Hurd, Austin Griffith's, Mount St. Helena, as well as Bigberry Manzanita.
