If you visit the famous Sandwich, Il fair the largest county fair in 102 counties in Illinois Wednesday thru Sunday Labor Day week you need to check out this affordable steakhouse. Been there twenty times in my life. Their signature dish is chicken George fancy chicken nuggets. Exceptional deals on their steak pairings as well. Five minutes from the Sandwich Fair the next town over to the West. 63 miles west of Chicago.

This is a cozy little restaurant. Delicious asparagus soup! Seems to get crowded after 6pm. Very friendly staff.

Nice restaurant way out in the country. Upscale home cooking and great pie. Decor is a pleasant throwback to another time and service was very good.
