Ever since I registered with DOR it's been like pulling teeth. From the moment I walked in to the DOR I've been treated with nothing but disrespect from reception to case management. I am actually working with Delbert Canon and he's the worst Case Manager ever. I never hear from him and there's no way to make a complaint. I've had to stop by the office multiple times and send numerous e-mails. I'm just forewarning you that this will happen. If you are someone who can't speak for themselves or you need an advocate I would suggest getting someone to help you out. YOU WILL NEED HELP. It's unfortunate that a facility who's supposed to be helping people with disabilities can't do their jobs and actually help. This is very concerning to me. The DOR does not care. I've been going in circles about what I can do to help them and moving forward with my case but they continue to sit on their thumbs and twirl. Be prepared for nonsense.

Stephanie Paine you can call this number to complain about the DOR it's the Disability Rights California, Client Assistants Program 800)776-5746.
Go to www.dor.ca.gov and look for the office closest to you. Call that office and tell them you would like to apply for services. They will handle it from there.
Not at this office. They are a state agency that helps people with disabilities who need help finding and/or training for a job.
