Uncles Nolan's Diner

Being from Southern California, we do not have luxury of cozy diners such as Nolan's. I was going to take full advantage of this opportunity. I gazed through the menu written on the wall and settled for the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. The steak was fried to a perfect crisp and the batter was flavorfully delicious with a generous portion of thick decadent white gravy. Enough to wrap around each bite of steak. I chose the coleslaw as the second side and enjoyed it thoroughly. Since we were all full from the wonderful meal, I took their ginormous cinnamon roll to go .

We go once a week for breakfast. Love our small town local vibe. The patrons are great and genuine. The service and the food is astonishingly good!
