Good day, I’ve been homeless for seven years and again tried to get housed Yet got a line of BS again with no respect or results I never want to here about how bad the homeless problem is as when homeless go for help try keep getting turned down the non-Profits are profiting while home are still homeless. With a non Professional staff I did not expect to get the service needed and have been on two housing lists for 1.5 years now I will never waist my time again!

Their housing program is excellent although sometimes they favor some over others...they do house homeless mentally ill...their day program leaves a lot to be desired...some of their case managers are not very professional...they have a good employment program although they again favor people...I wish they would bring back hot breakfasts...they provide psychiatric services...

Horrible! Illegal cameras within the rooms of their clients. The Staff at Step Up On Second/Vine uses condescending or degrading use of body language, vocal inflection, and behavior. Staff there presents two or more different personality styles based entirely on context. They persistently protect of people in positions of power even if such people have done something unethical or illegal. They use stereotyped use of euphemisms, jargon, deceptive language, and double standards in language. They use a patronizing "contaminated" smile, a sing-song voice. This behavior is considered patronizing when directed at the average individual. For instance, while dealing with patients alone, they adapt a vicious, punny, and controlling persona. When dealing with the general public, they may adopt a saintlike persona. This is how people will mislead you in Hollywood. Soon I would stop talking to Step Up staff all together. I kept to myself most of the time. STAY AWAY!
