I love going here no matter what the season. There are about 16 individual camp sites, each providing access to the lake. A parking area exists, with the sites located linearly along the lake. So, site #16 can be a bit of a walk when carrying your camping supplies. Each site has a fire ring and ample room. A well maintained bath house is within easy walking distance. The campsite is next to the lakes boat ramp making launching very convenient.

It it is a walk-in / hike-in campground. 3 stars due to seeing lots of litter along the trails and around the sites. Otherwise, I'd give this place 5 stars. I will likely camp it again next year. -------------- Pros: -Unique and different sites -Fairly quiet -easy access fishing - it's an adventure, you have to hike in (pack lightly) Cons: - Sites are on the other side of the lake and the area has not been swept for litter in a long time - Too much litter on the sides of trails/sites - No boat docks - You have to drive around the whole lake just to check-in and/or buy firewood - Not all sites have firepit rings (some just a grill) - some sites are in need of ring and grill repair/replacement - many sites require picnic table repair and replacement

Very nice campsite. Well maintained. Restrooms, picnic tables, fire pits, and lots of trails to explore. Also close proximity to fishing. We just had a great cub scout camp out there. Check it out sometime.
