As a long time Autozone customer, I called the Darien Autozone while out of state. I asked if they loan tools and specifically asked about a torx. The representative said yes we loan them and yes we have torx. When I get there the representative had no clue what a torx was and tried to show me a picture menu. While I explained what a torx is, another rep came out and said they didn't have them. I mentioned I needed to tighten a rear view mirror screw 1/2 turn in the parking lot so I'd buy a set and return it after. He said "you can't do that". Incompetence followed by direct refusal to help a customer was the service standard for this encounter. I will never shop at any Autozone again, in any state, thanks to the portly bearded latino chap's ego flexing the least amount power he could to screw someone.

Went to Auto Zone today in Darien on Cass Ave, I needed my head lights replaced. I walked in and was greeted ASAP “ hi May I help you” and with all smiles, kind , pactience and extremely helpful at detail about which lights to choose, replaced them both on location within 15 minutes of me arriving, turns out she was the store manger. I will continue giving Auto Zone my business. Great costumer Service, thank you

My mom and I stopped in to see if they had a specific nut and the man working there was so patient and took the time to help us, despite him being the only one on the sales floor and having a line of customers to take care of. He was answering the phone and helping in-store customers, a lot to juggle all at once! We definitely appreciated the time he took to help us out!
