I am all for supporting small business but this place is the absolute worst! My husband took me here to purchase skates as a Mother’s Day gift. The next day when I took the skates out of the box one was dirty, scuffed and damaged. I did not wear the skates so we could exchange them. When my husband took the skates in the owner refused to exchange let alone even look at the skates to see the damage. He told my husband to contact the manufacturer. Also he over charges for his skates by more than half of the retail price. I did not know this until I started looking online to discover that these particular skates run from $70 to $120 at stores like Amazon, target, Walmart, and kohl’s. I am extremely disappointed and want to share my experience so others don’t have to endure the same thing. I will continue to support small business but not here. Sadly now I’m going to have to pay extra to get my brand new skates repaired.

I came Friday to get my boot changed on my skates and to buy a brand new pair of skates for my friend only to read a note on the door stating that they are closed for the next three days. Then I go back on the day they were supposed to open back up only to read another note saying they are closed for the next two days. Called the number on the door and stated that I live out of state to only be told that I could purchase them via FaceTime because their internet servers are down and to be told that I still would have to pay for shipping which I shouldn’t have to if they were opened. I will not be doing business with them.

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! I went to purchase my nephew skates for Christmas only to get told the person was on a "lunch break" and to meet him at the store in 1 hour. Well that lunch break lasted over 2 hours! I could not wait so I left the store. However the gentleman was nice enough to call me and attempt to charge me $80 for skates for a 6 yr old. It is really disappointing to read all these reviews how this business is taking advantage of people that are trying to support them. I have only gotten skates from Underground Wheels my entire life, but I refuse to give the another penny with the awful way they do busines.

RED FLAGS yet I just kept picking them up. stars and that’s ONLY because of Ronald the sales associate. He was very knowledgeable and if he didn’t know the answer to my question he admitted that he did not. Spent 300+ on skates outdoor wheels and one other thing. The skates retail for 125 in that store. YET the SKATEBRAND Amazon and TARGET sell them for $55. Drove an hour, and wanted to support my people( well I did and OVER PAID for it) and feel like I got a huge slap in the face. Should’ve read other reviews because others have experienced this as well. I get the business has to make a profit but that is just crazy. I should’ve knew something was off when they said they could only take cash app or zelle due to their machine being “ down”
