Very disappointed! Long story short: We had a reservation for 7:30pm- Saturday evening, we got our entrees after 10:15pm, but it was after!! we started to complaining where is our food! They told us they are short of staff, which is unacceptable because we had a reservation, and business like this should have enough experience not taking more reservations they can not handle if they don’t have enough staff! Not to mention we were the only table left, others were served prior us!!! They just forgot!! On top of that, owner came to our table, told us our entrees are for free and he apologized, but they didn’t!!!! We paid for our entrees, too!!! On top of top of that our server didn’t bring my leftovers!!’ Food average, service miserable. Our server told us he doesn’t care!! True story!

Brought from family here that were visiting from NY and they were very happy and pleased with the meal. Definitely the best Italian food I have had in the Chicago area. Donny G’s has great prices, and a nice menu to choose from, and excellent service from the whole staff. I went with the grilled octopus, Shrimp scampi and pappardelle bolognese for dinner. Can’t wait to come back and try some more items.

The food and service at Vito’s are consistently excellent! For dessert, try their bread pudding. It is to die for! As a wheelchair user, I think their building is decently accessible. There are no stairs and the single person bathroom is spacious. My only criticism is that leading to the bathroom, there could be better spacing between tables. It can be a little hard to navigate, but it’s not a huge issue. Everyone is very kind, and I enjoy dining here.
