This is an all around amazing ceramic store/studio. I've been getting clay and glazes here for years, they are always knowledgeable and helpful. When I was there a group of kids were enjoying a ceramic glazing class. There is also a studio where classes build ceramic pieces and fire them on site. The gallery had a beautiful show of ceramic masks too.

I have never painted ceramics before, but I have painted wood. so they were very helpful with a quick lesson in how to get my creations right. really fun, and it has been a great time to bond with my adult daughter. very easy to learn. I ended up buying the paints so I can create the entire set! we like to watch TV and craft together, they fire the pieces whenever you finish so low pressure.

We love this place! Love ease of walking in to paint. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Plenty of paint, variety of items to purchase and paint. Thank you Alpha Fired Arts!

Great place for a rainy afternoon with the kids. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beyond just pottery painting, they do have lessons for clay throwing with the wheel but that will be for another day (and another review)

Tis the season to be utterly disappointed by random strangers!
So not since c19..totally bummed for them.now orange tier will reopen soon.you should call!!
Ceramic AND pottery! I use to own a ceramic shop in WA state. Pottery and ceramic are 2 kinds of clay product you work with. They have both. If you go to their place, I doubt you will be disappointed! When you go in the door, make sure to turn around and look up! You will be amazed before you even start looking around!.
I think it depends on the class you sign up for. I took the beginning class first back in October it was like $150.00 I think? I just recently signed up for the advanced class that is $200.00 this does not include supplies. The cost does give you open studio access during the course of the class. Each class is 6 weeks and meets once a week. If you call they will provide you with more information.
Hi Lana, I would suggest maybe sandstone, speckled buff, or electric brown.
Yes they sell.all kinds of clay prices vary from 11 -18 $20# pound. .
I do, but I'm moving so can't right now. I don't believe Alpha Fired Arts does, but you should call and ask them. I wish I was there I'd buy any molds you have.
I heard there is a place in galt. I have never looked it up.
