I have had wonderful and super workers from the Graton Labor Center both for the garden, Painting, Fence repair, and house cleaning! Staff is THE Best....very friendly and helpful. And the center is a very humane alternative to street hiring as well as informing these workers of their rights and how to maneuver themselves in an unfamiliar country...for some. Some have lived here a long time. Also the center provides daily English classes and health services and extra food sometimes arrives from farms. Love the GDLC!.

I asked on the phone was two workers to help load some not too heavy furniture into a van and I supplied the address and the workers were to meet me at the address at 8:00 AM. At about 8:15 no one showed up so I called again was was given an apology and told that they had people lined up and would be there by 9:00 AM. Again no one showed and I called and was told they were enroute. By 10:00 AM I gave up and called to cancel my request which they did with yet another apology. I then went to Fulton and picked up two workers who followed me to the job site and worked out very well! Never again with the Centro Laboral De Graton
