Nice little spot to grabe a bite to eat, a drink or Icee on a hit day. Also has day passes for fishing (you still need your state fishing license), tackle, bait, & boat rentals.

Only if you have too are the words I would say for the marina cafe. I appreciate that they have it because options are always great but its just that. For those who didn't prepare in advance to be here at Lake Chabot. Options are very basic, sandwiches, cookies, muffins and a cooler that has Gatorade, water, juices and soda. The grill is closed as they are looking for a chef. Not bad, just clearly a place for the ill prepared adventurers and I truly appreciate that in itself. Prices were about what I expected too.

This is a lovely place to visit. Friendly staff at the cafe/boat renting. Boats are clean. Huge lake to explore. No unpleasant smell. Lots of wild birds. Nice hiking trail.

I love the lake view. The trails are kind for kids , dogs, riders...if you want to walk around the lake, it takes a long time.

There is no park entrance fee Currently the parking fee for Lake Chabot Marina is $5 per vehicle, $4 per trailered vehicle. You can park on Lake Chabot road for free.

Yes, the park, Marina and Cafe are open. No barbecuing or using picnic tables. Masks are required.
As of today (October 4, 2020) boat rentals and the boat launch are open 7am-4pm M-Su. Register online at ebparks.org . Same social circle only in a boat.
