Book shop staff is kind and helpful. Well stocked and good for browsing. Love their yearly calendar sale and quirky trinkets for counter top impulse buys. An absolutely essential and welcoming member of this Destination neighborhood. All praise to the independent book stores!

Pegasus is one of the last Bookstores left. I highly recommended this store. There are new and used books, they buy selective books and can help you find that rare or elusive copy of a title you must have to complete your collection. Never forget the Calendar sale at the beginning of the year is a fantastic bargain 3 for $12! They have all kind of titles from preschool to post grad level and an incredibly knowledgeable staff. You will be so happy you found Pegasus...oh did I forget to mention the fantastic prices on the used books are simply unbelievable.

You can! The staff will decide which books it can sell and offer you cash or store credit
You'd have to call and ask the staff. If they don't have it on hand, they can order it and get it quickly.
I don't work at the stores, just a yearly customer. Inlive in Vallejo and drive to Berkeley for their big sale. Thry keep calendars on hand after the sale but it is first come ~ first to take home. I think it is 3 calendars (any size/any price) for $10....
They've bought some of mine before. Drop them off, give them a while to look through the pile, and they'll tell you what they'd like to keep.
