This is just my own preference of flavor and taste, but it lacked flavor. The pizza was good and the crust was amazing!! But for my first time ever trying a deep dish, I had high expectations of flavor bursting with each bite and I just did not get that.

Great pizza and service! EDIT- So we went again for dinner last night with family visiting from Atlanta total group of 6(2kids). There were may be 6-7 tables at most with customers around 7:45PM. They served us not 1-2 time’s but 4 time’s someone else’s pizza. SO DISAPPOINTED!

I’ve been to a lot of Lous restaurants, this one is by far the most beautiful and best decorated. The pizza here is just as delicious as the flagship location in Lincolnwood. We sat in the bar area where it’s nice and cozy (and closest to the beer) and our servers name was Sierra. Sierra was fantastic, she was attentive and definitely knew what she was doing. She kept our glasses full and gave us updates on the status of our order. The only complaint we have is when our pizza arrived, we realized the cook was really cheap with the amount of Italian beef they put on our pizza. Other than that, the experience here was great, the atmosphere and vibe was super chill. The bathrooms were clean and well decorated. Thumbs up! We will definitely be regulars at this location. On my pizza rating scale I’d give this place a: 5 out of 5 Ultimate Italian 👍🏻

I can finally say I have had a Deep Dish pizza from Illinois. I have never heard of Lou Malnati's Pizzeria but when I started asking around for the best place to eat a deep dish pizza everyone told me I had to eat here. The moment I arrived at the parking lot I was amazed and confused by the exterior. This place looks more like a farm/barn than a Pizzeria. As I walked in the place continues to follow the same theme with farming equipment all over the place. So the decoration was fun and the place was clean. Not what I expected in a Pizzeria. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table. Me and 4 other friends were ready to eat some pizza after a long day. It was towards the end of the day on a Tuesday so the restaurant barely had anyone left, which we thought was great for faster service. Our waitress was nice enough to explain the menu to us and help me with what I looking for. She informed me that I had to try the Malnati Chicago Classic Pizza, without hesitation I agreed. This pizza comes with a lean sausage patty or crumble as it's topping, I went with the crumble. I wasn't sure what to expect from a deep dish so I was open minded. Everyone ordered their dishes then the waitress informed us that it would take about 30 minutes for everyone's food. After 10 minutes we started to second guess if we should have ordered an appetizer, so I decided to get our waitress and place an order for Bruschetta. Long story short our waitress had a customer issue at another table next to us that seemed to eat up all her time. The customer was asking her a bunch of questions and began to get in to her life story. This ended up making us wate longer for the appetizer and our pizzas. Once she finally peeled away I got my waitress attention to let her know that I wanted to cancel the Bruschetta because I didn't want to eat it with my Pizza, she understood and offered to bring it out because it was already made and that it would be on the house. She apologized for the delay. I have to say once she brought the Bruschetta to the table it changed my tone, this appetizer looks amazing! It tasted fresh and the bread was the right amount or crunch and softness. It was perfect. Then 5 minutes later our pizzas arrived. When the waitress cut a slice of The Malnati Chicago Classic Pizza for me, I was shocked by how much cheese came from my medium size dish. Once the slice was in front of me the first thing I smelt was a red wine sauce. The sauce on this pizza is something special, I have never had a pizza with a red sauce that gave off such an amazing smell. The mozzarella was stringy and meaty at the same time and there was plenty of it. I will say that the cheese and sauce mask the sausage, you almost don't notice it as a crumble but my friend order the regular version and you can see his was a large meat disc. Personally I think mushrooms and pepperoni would have been a better choice. But still this pizza was great. Other than the slight hiccup with the service (which a manager did apologize for) this place is great. Pizza is awesome, and the service was friendly. I would come back for a different slice of deep dish pizza. Lou Malnati's Pizzeria has made me a fan of Illinois deep dish pizza.
