The owner Pete was very kind and accommodating given We were stranded with an inoperable vehicle. He diagnosed the problem quickly and ordered an alternator for me. Understanding that I was scheduled to leave the next day, he called me in 2 hours telling me that the car was READY! I was stunned and appreciated his mechanic Rico prioritizing us and getting us going. Super nice guys and I strongly recommend them for car repair. Highly recommend. Rare to find this kind of customer service in this s day and age. Thanks again gentlemen.

If you are in Napa and need car repairs, DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. Pete is not only helpful, but he also takes the time to explain in detail what's wrong with your vehicle and what kind of repairs you need. Unlike a lot of other places in Napa, he doesn't overcharge!

I've been hoping to find a trustworthy mechanic in Napa and got lucky when I got turned away from another shop in town and checked out Third Street Auto Repair. Peter is the best mechanic I've ever worked with - not that I'm experienced with this which is why I feel like I got lucky finding him. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire process of getting my girlfriend's car fixed. Rather than up-sell me on stuff I didn't need, he made an estimate then called again to ask if he should take the labor time to look further into the car's issues. He even walked me through the technical details of what was causing the further problems with the car, which no mechanic has ever done so thoroughly for me. At the end of the day, he knocked a few bucks off the price too. The car is running nicely and now I have someone in town I can trust for car repairs. It's rare to find a no-bs mechanic and if you're looking for one, Peter is your guy.
