I starting seeing Amy over 3 years ago and she has literally changed my life. Her expertise with creating an individual diet, suggesting supplements, and giving Acupunture/massage treatments made a significant improvement on my health during a time that I felt completely defeated and overwhelmed . I have seen integrative practitioners for over 20 years for chronic health issues and have never worked with someone who is so attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly so committed to healing people. She thinks outside the box and digs deep to figure out the root of ones health challenges. While working with Amy I have always felt like I have a partner in achieving my optimal health, she truly cares about each patient as an individual.

I came to see Amy for back pain after I had an accident at work. I had an large object fall on my mid back from 15 feet above me and landed in the ER. Amy treated me the day after my accident and the acupuncture treatment helped reduce my pain dramatically. I also came back for several more treatments and I believe this helped me get back to work much sooner. I am very grateful and now I see Amy periodically for tune-ups and she helps keep my back healthy and pain-free!

Yes we do and with great success! Chronic reflux is a complex issue that can be managed very well with dietary and lifestyle changes. We have successfully treated people with chronic, unrelenting reflux who have tried everything-- including medications and surgery!
We have a special program for women who are experiencing stubborn weight gain due to the hormone fluctuations of peri-menopause. Very often these women are doing everything to lose weight and feel helpless! But there is a way out! We work with each individual using lab testing, coaching and meal plans that reflect her preferences and values.
Yes we use acupuncture and other manual therapies to treat low back pain. We also do our best to discover the root cause of pain, whether it is structural or coming from body-wide inflammation.
This is a great question! Integrative Medicine is a term that is used when a clinic or health facility incorporates alternative treatments, lab testing or tools that complement mainstream techniques. Here at our clinic, we have redefined the idea of Integrative Medicine by choosing the BEST from both worlds. We select the best tools from a Western biomedical approach called Functional Medicine with the perennial methods and wisdom of Eastern Medicine. This could look like a combination of lab testing, acupuncture, personalized nutrition and health coaching. We choose and incorporate the best tools to get the best outcome for every patient!
Here at the clinic we know that just giving patients health information is often not enough! We actually help you make the changes you need, all on your terms! Wellness coaching (aka Health Coaching) is a system of support and empowerment for clients who are looking to make improvements in their health on their own terms. We offer health coaching in tandem with our Metabolic Health Method program for weight loss as well as a la carte coaching as needed for any goal you seek that requires a bit of habit-change. Your health is about you, your priorities, values and lifestyle. Health coaching helps you make changes you are ready for at a pace that feels comfortable to you!

Acupuncture increases circulation, blood flow and oxygen to areas of pain. It also signals the brain to produce pain-reducing chemicals that your body uses to reduce pain overall. Each acupuncture treatment helps your body "remember" how to heal areas of pain, so it is a great way to reduce pain by encouraging the body to heal itself.
Functional Medicine is a revolutionary approach to healthcare that dives deep into the root causes of chronic illness. Functional Medicine uses a scientific and systematic approach to identifying physiologic imbalances and dysfunction in the body and asks not only what, but why? Why does someone have high blood pressure, diabetes, chronic reflux or eczema? Functional medicine seeks the answers to these questions much like an experienced detective on a crime scene. We look at the obvious clues but we also dive into the not-so-obvious causes of disease. Functional medicine is fundamentally patient-based, not disease-based. We look at the underlying imbalances in the physiology of each individual in order to correct whatever disease or dysfunction may be manifesting as a result.
We treat nerve pain in the feet due to diabetic neuropathy and chemotherapy-induced neuropathy using acupuncture, orthomolecular and nutritional support. A program that includes a series of at least 6 acupuncture treatments is usually necessary.
Kidney stones are extremely painful! We work to create an action plan to prevent future stones from forming so after your kidney stone passes, you can feel good and not live in fear of more stones forming!
Yes! We have 5, 10, and 30 day detox programs. The length of detox depends on the individual and time of year. We typically do longer detox programs early in the New Year and shorter detox programs in Spring and Fall. These programs include well-formulated nutritional support and include sugar, hormone and liver detox support.
Yes, with great success! Chronic migraines are quite debilitating. We use acupuncture and curated orthomolecular support to not only stop migraines as they happen, but to prevent recurrence.
