High quality sod and some of the nicest work force I've done business with. They are always very helpful, we've done our entire yard and other projects with them.

Was working on patio and deracho repairs from where my tree once was and didn't want to seed due to dogs trampling ,Sara was very helpful getting sod in timely manner .very friendly and professional operation .couldn't be easier for a homeowner like myself with a small project . Also very reasonably priced and instant gratification

Sarah and the team are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They have many years of experience and their customer service is over the top. I haven't touched a product from them that I haven't been completely satisfied with. I recommend them to all friends and family looking to create a quality lawn.

I was very impressed with the staff and the overall experience. I’m the owner of TopBlades, LLC and know a lot about equipment. Blue Grass INT has state of the art equipment. This with the combination of the high-quality sod was reassuring. We will be using their products from here on out.

Hi Susan: Thanks for your question. As I'm sure you know, all plants need a certain amount of sunlight a day to thrive - so this is a smart question because different species of grasses have different tolerances as well! We recommend that our sod be installed in areas that receive at least four hours of direct sunlight a day. If your backyard is shadier than that and you still want grass, I would recommend considering overseeding this spring with our Dense Shade grass seed. The Dense Shade mix can go down to 2-3 hours of direct sunlight a day. If your property does not offer at least 2-3 hours of direct sunlight a day, then there are no grass varieties that will do well in that space. Your only options would be to increase the amount of sunlight so you can have grasses, or get creative with shade-loving plants, such as hostas and ferns. I hope you find this information helpful! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
