Awesome place! Pick your own apples or get some pre-pricked from the shop. Also available are apple and cherry doughnuts, apple cider, apple butter, apple crisp and apple turnovers. Lots of other good stuff in the shop. Many apple varieties.

The folks at Allen's Orchard were great to work with! They went out of their way to provide a nice venue in their barn for our private event. Everyone of their staff was super friendly, the prices were very reasonable and the Orchard was an awesome place to host our gathering! Allen's is not only a great place to pick apples on a sunny afternoon, but also a wonderful venue to host an event or party.

The orchard guided tour was simply fabulous! We took a walking tour of the orchard and got to see all of the trees that survived the Iowa 2020 derecho and although they lost 800 trees and most of this year's crop they did still have some apples to sell. It is a good investment of your time too and you won't regret it. Bring your kids and grandkids too, everyone has something to learn and enjoy.

This is a family friendly place, with a playground for kids, free hay-rack-rides, and a pumpkin patch. There is no cost for admission, you pay for what you pick. They have a lot of varieties available from July through first frost. They also have apple cider, apple donuts and many other baked treats available. Tours available for classes and groups.
