We enjoyed our stay at this hotel; the rooms are very clean; the beds are very comfortable as well as the pillows. The perfect about of blankets too and the AC was perfect. However, if you are short, you will need a push-up on the bed's giggle... I did and I am 5' 3". We did have to ask for more towels and TP during our overnight visit. The water system is hard water, so you will not make bubbles in the tub, shower, or on your body. We left feeling like a layer of soap was on our skin. The hotel does provide breakfast, and it all was very well displayed and clean. However, If you are a coffee drinker like me, YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY with their watered-down coffee. I did ask the front desk person (didn't get her name) to make a new pot and was told that is how our coffee is. I made a cup of tea instead and it was darker than the coffee was. I was not happy with the way she handled our coffee conversation at all. The young lady (red hair young lady on June 10th around 5 pm) we checked into the hotel with was AMAZING, informative, helpful, and open to assist us. She needs to be a manager for sure!! (I feel bad I didn't get her name.) Overall we will come back to this hotel when visiting family in the Oelwein area but will bring my own coffee.

Very clean, seems to be recently built facility the woman at the front desk is new but very polite and helpful excellent costumer service skills, I would definitely come back if in the area again.

Not the old, run down hotel we've come to expect in a smaller town. It was newer, had fridge and microwave, and a hot breakfast. Staff was welcoming and professional. Well done.

Wonderful place to stay in Oelwein. The staff is so friendly. Check in is a breeze. Our room was spotless and we received a free upgrade to a suite. I loved the jacuzzi. What a treat! We had a king size bed that was so comfortable. The couch is a pullout bed. They have a breakfast bar open till 9 but the fresh fruit and pastries were still out at 930 when we left. Fresh cookies in afternoon and popcorn at night were a couple of amenities at this locally owned hotel. We will be staying there whenever we are in town
