WOW! Do not ever come here if your getting a passport. Customer service is really not helpful. When I came to get my passport I had to stay in a long line NOT WORTH IT! When I was so close to getting to the front door of the post office, some lady comes out and says where only gonna let 2 more people in. She seemed she was not having a good day, she was screaming at everyone. If you do come to this place for a passport come earlier in the day maybe before they close. Also you can book an appointment, but there is a catch. It takes months to do the appointment. Here is an idea don't come to this place EVER!

If you don't care when your package arrives this is definitely the place for you. If you like spending almost $30 for "guaranteed delivery" only to have the package arrive a day late then this is the place. It's no wonder the post office is in danger all the time. They're pretty bad at delivering things. It's like the one thing they should be good at right? At least the package arrives most of the time. Try FedEx.

I had a pleasant experience...used there passport service. Please make an appointment before going, they will only answer questions, but will not let you in without an appointment. My wait and time out was less then 40 min. I made an appt for noon on a weekday. Paid for 4-6 week delivery for both passport book and card. Paid $279.

How do I make an appointment to renew an expired passport?
Cash, debit or personal checks are accepted only as form as payment @ the mega passport office in Van Nuys
To renew by mail? This is for a person over the age of 26ysr. Who has had a passport for 10 yrs already the cost is $110 but for first adult passport (which is for 10yrs. You do have to go to office and do it in person and it's $110.00 plus post office fee of $25.00 and pic if you don't have your own that is another $15.00 for children is only for 5yrs. And that's $85.00 plus the $25.00 post office fee...hope this info is helpful have a wonderful day.
Yes we are open tuesday to friday 8am to 6pm then on Saturday 7am to 5pm
From Tuesday to Friday it is not as requested as on Saturdays.
I got there hour before closing was out super fast morning just to busy
Not sure, but you might be able to set up a recurring payment with a credit card.
Don't believe so, 2day iz Pres. Day
About $100.00 more
I recommend you make an appointment. I was at the post office for non passport related needs, and the line was extremely long. A lot of people waiting in line, some had camping chairs, others sitting on the floor.
You can wait in line, but I suggest going early as the line gets very long. There are no guarantees without an appointment.
Most times, yes. They may help without an appointment but it’s highly recommended. I’ve seen people being turned away.
You may pay with cash, debit card, and credit card
I think passport office should be open beside having to make an appointment. The app machines at the post office don't work . like before the good old days with TRUMP
Envelops yes, you can grab them and take them with you .. But once you are ready to send the package, you have to pay the delivery fee.... Not sure how much it is.
You can do walk in & they take cash. If you aren't sure still you can call USPS thus location first
9am to 5pm
Thanks man
They accept credit cards
No. They are open 24 hours
Tuesday through Friday.
I believe one can do so
Yes, but your personal signature is required on the postal service form.
They tell you 6 to 8 weeks. Unless to pay extra to get it expedited. I would not recommend getting it expedited unless you really need it that fast. I do recommend that you get the Passport ID Card at the same time though. Mostly because it makes it easier to go to across the American-Mexico and the American-Canadian boarders.
Yes they do
No
No u don't have to
$30.00 just for card $110.00 for book
Just show up and wait in line.
I'm not sure as to how to advise. Did you go in person? Or by mail? And did you pay to get it expedited?
I'm guessing about $60
Yes, they do
Yes but they have long lines and rude customer service.
Absolutely no , hi has to do it for him self.
Both are good to bring in
Yes
What is your question?
Monday to Saturday 10 am to 5 pm sunday closed and holy day's.
Van Nuys Mega Passport Acceptance Office hours are Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is closed on Sunday and Monday.
Yes, but they will return it to you subsequent to your receiving the renewed passport.
I believe you are referring to the Post Office being closed on labor day. Wednesday is not a legal holiday, so normal business hours apply.
One
Check the notice you received for the exact address and hours of operation.
If you want to change your postal address, just go to any post office and request a form, fill it out with your new address and deliver it there, they will do the rest.
Not too sure, but i would think they would want to verify that the picture you are providing for the passport matches the person for whom the passport is being issued to.
Nope, just drop in any old time during regular business hours.
Haskell. Near the freeway.
Change off address
Morning time
I would not trust it. I believe they offer an expedited processing service for a somewhat hefty fee.
There is no test, check the passport website for the rates. You do have to bring original documents, which they do not keep.
Yup.
You need to bring pictures too and they don't accept credit cards so bring a check.
DO NOT. The office for Passports is that of Van Nuys. It's between Sherman Way and Haskell.
I don't think they take appointments. And yes, the line is huge. Expect 2 to 3 hours waiting. I recommend you get there as early as possible
Try the passport office located in the federal building in Westwood. You will pay an expedite fee.
yes!
Im not sure but i think you do need his signiture on some form before theyll let you leave the country with them. Call the post office as soon as possible and ask them. If you cant get ahold of anyone at this post office, try another one.
On Saturdays I will not have It's Monday Friday from 8:30 a.m. M A 4 P M. At least where the passports are delivered
No I would definalty start the process online
Of course! unless you have sole custody.
They are $15.00 for 2 pics
It's not hour photo, what it is that you get your pic taken right there while you are processing your passport and its open regular hrs. I believe 9am to 5:30pm Tuesday to saturday
Not sure but you can call them
