I personally closed my accounts years ago off the back of that horrid fraud perpetrated by hundreds of WF employees and when John Stumpf, the CEO, took a golden parachute on the way out with $130,000,000 (edit: it wasn't a golden parachute - he had accumulated millions of shares of stock during his career). Fired for cause and leaves with more money than God. Well obviously nothing has changed at Wells Fargo. We set our dad up with accounts at Affinity Plus, a local and great CU and we went to close out his accounts. They didn't a banker on staff at 930AM. Genuinely, how do you not have a banker that can close a clients account upon request? Not even the manager could do it (or so he said...) so either the manager is a liar or they don't know how banks work. The teller that helped was wonderful, but that doesn't make up for a toxic organization.

Had an appointment set for 1:00pm... I show up early. At 1:03 I'm told the person I'm supposed to meet with is on break. Wells Fargo does not understand how appointments work. Dont go on break if you have an appointment scheduled!!! To schedule my appointment I called and was given to a call center in Texas. I said I needed an appointment to deposit a check and talk with a banker about renewing a CD. When I showed up at the New Hope branch, they didnt know my name, and had no clue why I was even there! Why did I go through the trouble telling the guy on the phone why I needed an appointment if he wasnt going to pass it along to the people that need to know?

Im giving a 2 star because there are some very efficient people that work the drive thru that deserve 5 stars, but the last month or so, that has changed, The new girl in the drive thru is very slow and has difficulty understanding giving correct change back. She even asked why I dont just give her exact deposits instead of making her give me change back. What?? I am assigned this location through my job, or Id find another branch to use. We only get 30 minutes total for our bank run, in in the last 2 weeks, ive had 4 that took over 45 minutes. Will be requesting to be assigned a different branch.

Paul Swanson, the Branch Manager, was great. My wife and I went in on a Saturday to open an additional savings account, and we were promptly greeted when we arrived. They were busy, so we waited a few minutes for a banker to free up. Paul was the next available, and we later found out he was helping customers due to the high volume that day. Seeing a manager helping customers because their staff is busy is always very encouraging. Paul was polite, helpful, and got us exactly what we wanted. He had a few helpful recommendations for us and spoke to us about our mortgage and credit card situation. I was very pleased with the service we received.
