The happy staff at Whittier and the long-time residents truly are the charm of the community. When reviewing the old & dated negative reviews, please don't believe them. They are a complete contrast to what you will find at Whittier Glen today. The administrator and caring staff have such an optimistic disposition. They hire the right employees who strive to make a positive contribution every single day. You can feel the comfort and freedom of the residents and staff as they move around daily. Though there is organization and schedules, you don't feel the restrictions of strict rules that one sometimes expects with senior communities. There are many activities to choose from, but flexible schedule options without pressure to attend. Great food menu and snack options, but overall the most enlightening is the freedom to move around freely and be yourself. There is a lovely and down-to-earth element to this place! :)

I am not surprised that the other reviewers have posted 5 stars. Whittier Glen Assisted Living employees are not just workers; they CARE about the residents and everyone is treated as family. If your relative is ready for the next level of care do not hesitate to speak with a member of this great ‘team’! Sofia is a very kind and helpful Administrator. The facility itself was very clean and there were a lot of smiling faces from the staff and residents.

This assisted living is very warm and welcoming. The executive director Sophia is very warm and welcoming as well! You can definitely tell she cares for her residents.

Excellent Care. I want to recognize the management team, caregivers, and Med Techs at this building. It's amazing on much they have grown. The team has built the right culture. Aide and her team are genuine with their residents. I have witnessed great communication and teaching within the team. Its amazing to see how they all treat their residents like their own family. Aide your level of passion is extraordinary. Kudos to you and your team.
