To crowded,to long of lines. I use to love the country fair but, now its to commercial. My family and our business were there for many years, we had so much fun, the last 10 years bad times. We won't be going ever again.

Not ideal for people who aren't local and/or choose not to take the covid Vax. We used to attend on vacation since we're not local and aren't able to volunteer/work. But now, we choose not go. Who wants to spend every day of their vacation visiting a doctors office for a negative test?! Not our idea of fun.

My wife and I have not been for over 30 years, so it was time! This is the quintessential Willamette Valley experience. Dress up. Feel a good 70’s peace vibe. Accept and enjoy one another. Get healthy food. Take a sauna. Browse guild level arts and crafts. It’s a medieval village meets a much safer and cleaner Woodstock. Multiple stages from Jazz to burlesque. It’s big. If you drive, you’ll pay $15 to park. Then you’ll walk a looooong way to get through COVID stations. We did will call tickets, but the wait wasn’t bad. $40 a ticket and don’t expect cheapo items to purchase. Quality items. Most take VISA via Square. We’ll organized and friendly staff. Great for people watching, music, food and an overall Peace viibe.

I used to love country fair, I thought this festival represents freedom and you want mask and vaccine cards? The vaccines have not undergone long term testing and short term testing reveals very little protection against COVID and massive side effects. Also masking is shown to make people sick because you are breathing in your bacteria that collects on the mask. This is oppressive government tyranny being enforced by Country Fair Family? Apparently sheep or government agents are running country fair, either way I want nothing to do with it.

As of now it's always the second weekend in July. So that would be July 10-12.
That's what so great about the Oregon Country Fair. It's Oregons' version of Monty Gras. You can dress any way you want, be what ever you want, and a mature & self respecting person should accept them & respect their way of expressing themselves. You making fun of them shows lack of maturity & the meaning of respect. No one should be judged by their clothing but by their heart.

Me! :) how much?!
This must be applied for on the Oregon Country Fair website, but they did not take any new applications for food vendors in 2019. Check back in December 2019 to see if there are any openings and get your application in as early as possible for next year. https://www.oregoncountryfair.org/2019-applications/
Everybody plays music everywhere at the Country Fair. You should call the venue people & ask if you want to play at Shady Grove at a specific time to make sure it's not already booked.
When the venue is released. Usually about a month or more ahead ☺
Yes, you can buy them online at various ticket outlets, like: "Ticketmaster" and others... Simply search.... "Oregon Country Fair Tickets" and you'll have no problems!
There is a yearly jury process for new crafts, and only a few make it in. Once in, booth fees depend on a number of factors, but are generally very reasonable.
