If I could give this place zero stars I would. Someone prepurchased a product for me and instructed the business to leave it outside. I get there 4:57 after driving an hour after work to make it their in time. The door was already locked and the sign showed closed even though they have it posted it is 5:00 they close. They let me in, okay amazing, but then they gave no indication or have no posting the door would slam into me as I am walking in. The door hit my ankle and tore a ton of skin off the back. I immediately started bleeding and filled up a huge band-aid. I have a super high pain tolerance and I physically could not speak for 30 seconds. The guy who watched this happen said "yeah you're like the third person that has happened to now." They really need to put up a sign. It is now a week later and my ankle is STILL swollen and bruised after 8 full days. At this point of it being a week I am frustrated and called for a refund for having such poor service and experience at the business. They were hesitant when I asked to speak to a manager, the manager would not let me speak to the owner. I was told "you just want something for free." I explained I waited a whole week before even saying something and that if I really wanted to I could proceed with a lawsuit, he told me to go head to do that because all I am trying to do is get something for free. I HAD TO NURSE A WOUND INFLICTED AT THEIR BUSINESS FOR A WHOLE WEEK. I said that I have worked in customer service for a long time and that when companies have someone who has an injury OR a very poor experience they do something to make things right. That is INTEGRITY. I'm not asking for hand outs. I am angry at the business and the manager who assumes I want free things and doesn't understand if they don't have a sign up, just like if a business does not have a "wet sign" up and someone slips and falls they can be sued. It is all about making it right for the customer. Especially after they drove almost an hour ONE way to give you business. Extremely rude and condescending on the phone. He said "this goes against everything I believe in, I will give you half refund and then this is over and done with and it wont be talked about again." Just a note, I grew up in Sheboygan county and I understand this is how some of the county operates but I'm no longer from around there and live in one of the top 10 wealthiest counties in Wisconsin. I'm not looking for handouts so don't assume, I'm looking for the business to make things right and when I spend money I could have put towards college after a poor experience, I am going to want that back.
