Really clean and nice park for people with families. A lot to do with a pool, park, skate park, pond with climbing toys etc. My only gripe is that they love to nickle and dime you for everything. Luckily they stopped charging kids $1 for a train ride.... Sort of tacky when they did that.

Love this place. The pond with inflatables is great for kids. Campground is well run and very clean.

My GRANDkids and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day/2-night stay, with the pond & pool being the biggest highlights. The staff was very courteous & even helped me with a wet-phone-in-the-pool issue. We'll definitely be back.

By far one if the best kept grounds we have seen thus far. We ended up having to rent a golf cart because they removed any type of walkway to the nearest bathroom/activity building spot from the "new" campsite area by the swimming pond. The Map shows a walk through area, but they ended up putting up tape when we were there. A site should be removed and a path/road should be placed for convenience of this new area of campers like the Map shows. Mini golf should be included without extra charge. Please consider cost of stay and golf cart rental. Kids had a blast. Ages 12,9&5. Arcade could use an upgrade for the older kids. Bathrooms/shower's were super clean and current.

Questions & Answers

Are there fishing opportunities nearby?

Emily Hodge | Aug 4, 2018
Paul Anderson | Aug 5, 2018

Yes, Lake Martha in Osseo is small but close. Crystal Lake in Strum has panfish, big Perch and Northern Pike. Lake Eau Claire and Lake Wissota aren't too far either. Stoney Creek put in a fishing pond but I'm not sure if theyve stocked it yet. The Buffalo River has some big trout, with public access at several points nearby.

Can you bring your own chopped firewood?

Nathan Nelson | Aug 3, 2020

We do not allow scrap wood, pallets, or building wood to be burned in our firepits. As far as firewood goes, the Wisconsin DNR has several restrictions on firewood transportation within the state. If your firewood is within Trempealeau county or 10 miles of the campground, it may be brought into the campground. Please see the DNR website for full details on firewood transportation. There is kindling and firewood available for purchase at the main office.

Are tents restricted to the tent sites or can you get an RV site and only set up a tent plus have your vehicle?

RV sites cost a bit more, but yes, you can do that.
