One star or less. Incompetent. Rude. Over an hour in line, one person working that only know half the requirements. Had to get help. Waste of time.

Very friendly, helpful staff. I was there with about 15 other people and it was not much of a wait. They were very speedy with their processing. Clean facility, easy access to the site. The staff should people at other DMV sites.

have to get drivers license renewed and want to have it done in Viroqua as there are not a lot of people around so my question is, do I need to call ahead and make an appointment.

You will need a duplicate license, which is $14. You may need to do it online, since most services have been discontinued at the Viroqua DMV. Call and ask on Thursday when they are open next.
